How to Check the Status of Your TIE Card: (Lote Number Guide)

When you finish your TIE appointment, they’ll hand you a receipt; treat it like gold. Seriously, guard it with your life, because you’ll need it to pick up your actual card later. And instead of nervously counting down 30+ days, Spain has finally given us a little relief: you can now track your card’s status online. No more guessing, no more panicking, at least not about whether it’s ready.

1. After submitting your TIE application, you will receive a printed receipt. On this paper, you will find your Lote number (as shown in the image below)

2. Go to the official tracking website: https://form24.es/lote/select

3. Scroll down until you see the field “Selecciona provincia” and choose the province where you submitted your TIE application.

4. Next, select “Selecciona oficina” and choose the police station (comisaría) where you applied.

5. You will then see the list showing the current Lote numbers being processed for each office. When the published Lote number matches or surpasses your Lote number, it means your TIE card is ready for collection.

Important Notes

• The page will also tell you where to pick up your card. It will indicate “Sin Cita” or “Cita Recoger”:

• Sin Cita → You do not need an appointment to collect your card.

• Cita Recoger → You must book an appointment to pick up your TIE card.

Love always,
