Choques Culturales

Choques Culturales

I’ve written about culture shocks before, but this time it’s a little different; it’s about coming back to the U.S. after living abroad. Returning home, I noticed so many little things that had completely slipped under my radar before I left: everyday habits, routines, even the way people interact. It’s funny how stepping away makes the familiar feel… different. At the same time, living in Spain has given me a fresh perspective, and there are definitely things I find myself preferring in my life there. This series is my way of sharing those observations, the surprises, the small moments that made me nostalgic, and the ones that reminded me why living abroad is so worth it. This is me naively experiencing reverse culture shock!
