Bienvenida to Hola España, the little corner of my world where I process my life choices in real time… specifically the choice to pack up everything and move to Spain. Whether you’re here with a “hi” or a “hola,” I’m so happy you’re here. This is my first time living outside of the U.S., and let me tell you, the emotions have been loud. Excitement,  nerves, and a little “what did I just do?” I started this series because I needed a place to land. A place to sort through the feelings, document the chaos, and give myself something to reread on the days when homesickness creeps in.

If you’re wondering why I made the leap, I promise I’ll tell you everything. The spark. The doubts. The paperwork. The packing. The “okay, this is really happening” moments. I’ll walk you through what it actually looks like to start over in a new country. Not just the pretty plaza photos, but the awkward grocery store trips, the language mishaps, and the small wins that feel huge.

This series is me figuring it out as I go. Learning how to exist in a new culture. Finding my people. Falling in love with daily life here. And slowly becoming someone braver than I was before.
