Welcome to the Pre-Spain Chronicles,  the very first chapter in what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest adventures of my life. This is where the journey begins: before the plane ride, before the sangria, before I even set foot in Spain. In this space, I’m opening up about everything that led me to take this leap, from the why behind my decision to move abroad, to the many (many!) steps it took to prepare, to the emotional rollercoaster that came with leaving behind the familiar. This isn’t just a travel blog category, it’s part guide, part diary. You’ll find helpful tips and insights if you’re considering a big move yourself, but also raw, honest reflections about what it’s like to uproot your life and chase something new.
